...Saturdays

Day 6
I love a good Saturday. I love Saturdays where I can sleep late and I have absolutely nothing to do. I love Saturdays where I have to be up early and have activities planned throughout the day. It doesn't matter what I fill my Saturdays with. I just love them because I don't have to do my normal routine. Monday through Friday are full of work, extracurricular activities and then bed. Sundays are filled with church. Sometimes our Sunday afternoons are filled with extra plans but Saturdays are different.

My favorite kind of Saturday is a rainy Saturday. I love sitting in my pajamas in my recliner with a good book. I love snuggling up with a cozy blanket and watching TV. All of my little family is inside with me and everything is calm and relaxing. The only thing better than a rainy Saturday is a cold, rainy Saturday. Then a fire is involved :-)

In a world where we are creatures of habit and we run from one event to the next, Saturdays are a welcome break and for that, I am thankful.
