...School Plays

Day 20
I think I have mentioned that my daughter was in our school's production of "Alice in Wonderland". Tonight was the last show and we were so ready for it to be over! We are tired and are looking forward to being home at night. However, what a wonderful experience the past two days have been for her. After all of her hard work she was able to do her performance and she had such a great time.

I loved doing school plays growing up. I always wanted to be the main character but I was perfectly happy doing anything at all. I'm glad she was able to have the same experience. The difference is that I would do them over and over and she has said she isn't sure she wants to do one for awhile.

The fine arts are leaving our schools at a rapid rate because of funding. We are so very lucky to still have a fantastic fine arts group at our school.
